3D Laser scanning services & As-Buit Surveys

We rebuild the geometry of elements and infrastructures using 3D laser scanner technology

Generation of spherical pictures 360

360 pictures, spherical photography, panoramic image or 3D model generated on the basis of photographs is a photographic technique with which a series of photos is obtained of an object or space rotated or rotated in a complete circle, occasionally on multiple axes. Increasing the number of photos will improve the smoothing of transitions and is widely used in VR (Virtual Reality) applications.

Currently, our 3D laser scanning equipment allows, in addition to laser light measurements, to create 360 photographs by capturing photos of the scan area. With the great advantage of being able to georeference the images with the generated point cloud.

360 photography is a useful tool in the field of architecture, engineering or industry because it allows:

  • It serves as a complement to the work status documentation (initial, progress or AS-Built);

  • Conduct detailed visual assessments for engineering design, project planning, operations and safety reviews;

  • Serve as a visual reference during collaborative meetings with external teams and internal communications for common understanding;

  • Perform visual evaluations conducted by experts in the field, including consultants and subcontractors that are not possible to achieve with other methods such as video or standard photography.

For commercial purposes it is considered a common standard 20 to 30 images per rotation and for its interactive visualization requires the use of certain applications or software that support moving the object left / right and also up / down in the case of rotations in several axes . This causes the uniform visual appearance of a rotating object.

The experience with the use of 360 photography has shown that users can improve the quality and collaboration in the planning of work related to construction and modifications, which can result in a reduction of costs, responsibility and risk, by minimizing or even eliminate trips to the work site of the staff.
